Italien: Mountain House over Lake Como (Italy)

We sell beautiful “baita” in excellent conditions, completely renovated and furnished, located in a typical alpine village adjacent to Lake Como (about 900 meters high), for people who are looking for contact with nature.
The property is on the edge of the small village of Vezzee, in the municipality of Dorio - LC, close to a forest of chestnut and walnut trees. The village is 15-20 minutes up from the Lake: to reach it there's a cemented road through the wood, accessible only to residents or paying a daily pass: it guarantees complete peace and tranquility to the area; the car can be parked just a few meters from the house (about 50), as in the village streets are just for pedestrians.
As you enter the small gate there's a courtyard, divided into 2 levels thanks to an embankment that serves as a terrace and barbecue area. There are 2 doors in the courtyard: trough the 1st one you can enter the storage room, using the 2nd one you enter the “baita” itself. .
The house is divided in two floors: on the ground floor there are living room, open-plan kitchen and bathroom (equipped with toilet, shower and bidet). To heat the house there's a large fireplace and a kitchener (we call it economic stove - which also brings warmth to the upper level); while to heat the water there is a wood boiler. Extensive use of wood, combined with the presence of solar panels to produce electricity, ensures very low energy costs and a low environmental impact.
Trough a beautiful stairway you reach the upper floor ; The floor is used as sleeping area: in fact there's a large bedroom with queen-size bed, and a smaller bedroom with a bunk bed. Both rooms have oak-beamed ceiling and wood flooring. On the upper floor there is also a cistern for water (which comes from a fountain not far from the house - serves as a water-system).
The property includes three plots of land (800m2 in total) in the close vicinity of the “baita” (adjacent each other), which overlook the lake: 2/5 minutes walk from the house.
